It is, famously, the only newspaper worth reading in New Winchester, as well as the only paper that hasn't bankrupted itself. Its quality speaks for itself. '

| The Immortal Skyfarer The newspaper has given innumerable sobriquets to the supposedly deathless captain, ranging (in order of seriousness) from 'the Immortal Skyfarer' to 'the Phoenix' to 'Captain Cryptic'.They've printed a number of eyewitness accounts, each of which is gently mocked by the reporter. One is from a trader claiming he saw the Skyfarer battling pirates, another from a naval officer who believes the Skyfarer is the vengeful spectre of Prince Albert. The third, and most fanciful, account claims to have shared drinks with the Skyfarer, and over the course of an evening learned that they stole their immortality from the daughter of a long-dead king.
